These are live pictures of some under pressure branchings. The branch sizes are between DN 150 - DN 400 and the main line material is mostly Construction steel and plastic. The media is water, pressure 5 - 15 Bar.

DN400 branch in Kotka, FInland 2009

Two DN400 branches were made in Kotka to a existing DN600 water supply line. Drillings were carried out by using TONISCO B40-drilling machine through sluice plate valves. The valves were attached to mainline with drilling saddles. After the installation of the saddles and the valves the actual drillings were carried out in a quite short period of time.
